Thank you for visiting projectSSP.com, an archive of real "investigations and restorations" of Special Service Package (SSP) Mustangs by their owners.  This site is geared to allow everyone visiting access to the joys and headaches of restoring, researching in-service history, and so-called completing (as with any project, there really is no end) of SSP Mustangs.  The intent of this site is to keep these stories alive and public by offering webspace to those who have, are, and will investigate and restore their own SSP Mustang(s).  This site was created through the inspiration of  SSP owner's and people not affiliated with the SSP community who have expressed interest in this hobby.

It is my hope that this site compliments other SSP Mustang enthusiast sites, has part in preserving the hobby, and sparks interest in those who enjoy reading about the restoration and investigation processes of SSP Mustangs.  Please spread the word and help us keep this hobby alive!
